Aurora — Service
Aurora my Service Dog has been a life saver to me. She has exceeded all expectations of mine for her. She is crossed trained in many different tasks. Using her trained task skills she is able to remind me to take necessary medication twice a day by bringing me the container and a water and ensures I take it. She also has enabled me to become more independent and less fearful in public due to her exceptional alerting and response skills. She has accompanied me to numerous doctor and hospital visits. On a daily basis she navigates through people when we are out and helps me find my car along with retrieval of items on command. She has been an amazing partner and companion as well. She knows just what to do as far as critical thinking skills in different situations and readily works to provide me with quality care for all of my physical and mental needs. She truly is a hero. I would not be alive today if it were not for her. She alerted to me and I went to the hospital to find out I needed an EKG and it was a good thing I got there when I did. She also has helped me with PTSD and has brought me to Saftey when I have disassociated and had no idea where I was. She truly is a hero and deserves recognition for her loyalty and intelligence.
