Camo — Therapy
Camo had not had the best time of his life until he met me. He had more than 15 homes in a short 6.5 years. I immediately knew he was a very special boy and got him started on his journey to being a therapy dog through 1 Boy 4 Change as well as Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Since he passed his CGC and therapy tests, he has been frequently working at local venues such as nursing homes, funeral homes and hospitals. When we show up at a hospital, everyone wants to see the german shepherd!! He is a gentle giant, easy with children as well as the elderly. I never understood how sensitive he was until I took him to a funeral home. When I opened the door, he started to talk to everyone through the entire line. The second time in a different funeral home, he did the same thing. He feels the emotions of all the folks who are grieving a loss and he insists on talking with them about it. I believe Camo deserves an award for all of his hard work he does. I don’t think he would still be on this earth if it weren’t for a very smart breeder who knew Camo needed me.
