I became sick in 2016 with pancreatic cancer. When I came home from the hospital after whipple surgery she never left my side. I started chemo and it was like she knew I was sick and would lay beside my bed and not leave it. When I would be in the bathroom sick as can be she would lay in the door way until I went back to bed. She was never trained as a therapy dog and still to this day when I come to my room she right there beside me and stays in my room. There has been times when I used her to get back to my bed to lean on. She has been more help to me then I could ever imagine. I love her with all my heart she such a sweet pup. She may not have been trained professionally but she knows what to do when I have needed her.
