Maggie — Service
It took 8 1/2 months to get matched. When we met from our two-week training, Maggie came home with me and, saved my life just six days later. I happened to have my oxygen levels drop and she somehow sensed that I had totally stopped breathing and detected this and jumped onto the bed and repositioned me until she got the air flow with my bi-pap machine going enough to bring me back to life. Since this episode, there have been numerous episodes where she has warned, alerted or just plain moved me to save me. She even lays at the end of the pool and keeps an eye on me altering when I need to get out due to shifting of the chest. She was not even trained to do this task but figured out I needed help on her own.
