Monty — Service
Monty is my service dog due to an accident while I was working. A lady didn’t stop at a stop sign and hit my drivers side. I don’t remember any of this as I have a Traumatic Brain Injury and was in a coma for 30 plus days. They told my husband that I wouldn’t survive but I did. I was in the hospital for 10 months. I had to learn to talk correctly again, take care of myself, learn how to use the other side of my brain that was not damaged. I had to be taken everywhere from 2006 till 2015. I have hearing aids now due to the accident. I still go to Dr’s. I also have PTSD due to accident and Monty helps me with this, also picks things up for me that I drop. I now have drop seizers which mean I just fall and he lays with me with his front feet on my legs until I come to and then helps me when I can get up. He also helps me with my balance issues. He lets me know when to get up. He goes everywhere with me to help me with my problems. My Dr said I needed a service dog for my injuries and wrote a perscription for what I needed. He is my life saver and best friend. I don’t know what I would do without him.
