Suma L469 — Military

Charity Partner: Paws and Stripes
Location: Houston, Texas

Hi, my name is Suma L469. I retired from the U.S Air Force on October 17, 2014 after nine faithful years of service. I worked hard as dual-purpose dog PEDD, which stands for Patrol Explosive Detection Dog. I dedicated my first five years overseas, mostly in Afghanistan protecting base camps and going outside the wire to look for improvised explosive devices, or IEDs. I was responsible for saving for between 150-200 military and civilian lives during my career as warrior with paws. My last four years I spent at Lackland Air Force Base training the younger dogs for their careers in the military. I served my country and I only asked to be showed love and kindness. In return, I would lay down my life for yours!
