Yam — Service
I had been looking for a bigger dog to tell the truth when I was looking for a dog to train. But a nearby shelter got in a bunch of dogs from a hoarding case of chihuahuas and chihuahua mixes so I went to check them out with my mother. Yam was the only dog to crawl in my lap and actively attempt to calm me during a panic attack while meeting the dogs. Back then he was scared of pretty much everything and had no training but a amazing heart to help. I worked with him for a while with basic obedience on my own and he would start alerting to several symptoms I have on his own without much teaching. He was the reason I learned I have seizures every morning from partially waking me up on morning during one and will alert at least 10-15 minutes before since I rarely feel them coming on. He’s come so far and don’t think I’d be in a good place without him.
