Jamie Chung

Jamie Chung was born and raised in San Francisco, and after graduating from UC Riverside she has continued to work with renowned actors and filmmakers.

She can currently be seen starring in the series THE GIFTED, based on Marvel Comics’ X-Men properties. Chung stars as the mutant “Blink”. She can also be seen in the AIDS drama “1985” based on Yen Tan’s short of the same name, which premiered at this year’s SXSW in March. Up next, Chung will reprise her role voicing “GoGo Tomango” in BIG HERO 6: THE SERIES

Recently, Chung starred alongside Zoe Lister-Jones and Adam Pally in the indie film BAND AID which premiered at Sundance. She also appeared in FOX’s hit show GOTHAM opposite Ben McKenzie as ‘Valerie Vale.”

Chung also starred as Mulan in the ABC hit show ONCE UPON A TIME. Chung also made her mark on the TV streaming circuit with her role as “Olivia” on the Hulu original series RESIDENT ADVISOR.

In 2015, she won over the lead in Emily Ting’s ALREADY TOMORROW IN HONG KONG, where she plays an American Chinese woman visiting her home country, who quickly falls in love with an American expatriate. Chung is well known for playing “Lauren” in hit comedy films HANGOVER 2 & 3. Prior to that, she was seen as “Lady Silk” in Universal’s film MAN WITH THE IRON FIST with Russell Crowe that Quentin Tarantino produced. Chung is known for playing strong female roles such as the kick ass role of “Amber” in Zack Snyder’s SUCKERPUNCH feature and received critical acclaim for carrying indie film EDEN, which premiered at SXSW in 2012, based on the true story about a young Korean girl who was abducted and forced into sex trafficking and years later miraculously saves herself. Chung won the Special Jury Award at SXSW for her performance and the film won the Narrative Audience Award.

Chung has proven the range of her abilities as an actress through other films like political indie KNIFE FIGHT opposite Rob Lowe that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, indie BURNING PALMS, Fox’s DRAGONBALL, and Summit’s SORORITY ROW which honored the female cast at ShoWest as Future Stars of Tomorrow in 2009. Chung also had her Sundance debut in 2012 playing the lead in short film BLUE DILDO directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. She has participated in voice only roles as well, including her role of GoGo in BIG HERO 6, which released in 2014.
