Bella The Wonder Dog — Therapy
In 2018, Bella was involved in a tragic accident which left her back-end paralyzed. At one point it was questioned if Bella should be “put out of her misery” but the doctor treating her saw a life and perseverance in Bella and helped her as best as possible.
From there, an amazing local rescue organization took her case. She spent a while in an incredible foster home.
At a local adoption event, I met and fell in love with ny girl!
Bella’s typical day during covid-pandemic involves being served breakfast in bed, napping, chasing her siblings, stealing siblings toys, several diaper/outfit changes, cuddles, mommys cell phone in her face getting photos, more naps, dinner in bed, mote cuddles, last diaper change, and being put tucked in her playpen for bed.
Right before Covid Pandemic, Bella gained her Therapy Dog Certification after a challenging process. Its not every day that a paralyzed girl can pass the therapy dog certification.
As a therapy dog she most enjoys nursing homes and groups of children.
In fact, Bella has a children’s book named for her which encourages children to embrace their uniqueness.
Bella looks forward to the day that she is able to visit her friends again. She is truly changing lives for the better.
