Buddy — Service

Buddy was adopted February of 2015 by the Richard family who got him from a family who fostered him after witnessing him being thrown out of a car window , Since adopted, his Handler Jaxson a 14 y/o disabled boy trained him to be his service dog. Jaxson before training Buddy was in and out of psychiatric hosbitals for suicide attemps and ideation. When Jaxson started training Buddy, Jaxson’s family and therapist saw a positive change in behavior. Buddy throughout the years has learned tasks such as Deep pressure therapy, Panic attack interruption, hyperventilation alert and so much more. In the picture Buddy celebrated his 7th Birthday on February 15th 2021 two days after Jaxson celebrated two years out of a psychiatric hosbital. Buddy is a Hero to Jaxson and it would mean the world to Buddy and his Jaxson if he won a Here Dog Award.
