Charleston Chew — Shelter
Doing Labrador rescue for Labrador friends of the South for the last 15 years. We see a lot.
When I started to volunteer for Labrador friends I had already had 4 labs. I fostered Ashton which now is Charleston Chew or Chew for short. Chew learned so much from older labs. He learned how to show a dog that came from a bad background, how they are supposed be treated.
Chew would correct their bad behavior, it is amazing to watch it in action. Chew is a lover.
Rescue dogs in general show you things all the time, if you take the time to watch it.
I believe all dogs are hero’s in different ways. They all just have different specialities if you take the time and train with them. You will see it. Chews speciality is to show foster dogs that being a Labrador Friends foster is an awesome way to start to find your forever home. All the volunteers and foster parents love their foster and will do anything to help them find their forever home.
Labrador Friends of the South always states your in the program for life. No matter what happens they always take back their labs.
