Dodger Freedom — Service

Location: Homosassa, Florida

I am nominating Dodger Freedom because he is truly an amazing dog! After serving in Afghanistan, I was a mess and on many medications to stabilize me. This dog has brought me from my lowest point in life to a medication free life. He has brought me back out into the public. Dodger is kind, loving and wins the hearts of all who have met him. We now volunteer in the classroom. Children who are typically afraid of dogs are drawn to him. Dodger has been certified as a service dog since 2012 and has saved my life and helped so many others. Dodger is an American hero dog!
