Lulu — Service
When we first got our two dogs they were rescued out of Texarkana. They didn’t know each other until the night before we picked them up. I knew from the beginning she would be an amazing service dog. I started basic obedience and tried to start tasks. I was a junior in high school learning about cattle and showing them. Senior year came around and I got my FFA project. I had to stop service dog training. I never dropped her obedience and public outings to PetSmart and Lowe’s. For legal reasons I only took her to those places. Then after school I was diagnosed with anxiety and stomach issues completely. I knew I was disabled when I couldn’t function in the real world. I was always being judged in college because I didn’t learn like everyone else and I was always having an episode.
