Monstro — Shelter

Monstro is a rescue dog who arrived with badly mangled back legs. We think his Mother rolled on him as a baby and nobody realized his legs were broken, so he wasn’t attended to. We had two surgeries done on him, and he was as good as he was gonna get. He began limping badly last fall, so I took him to VA to be custom fit for braces to help take the weight off his knees and hips. The results have been miraculous. Today he actually RAN in the backyard, which he hadn’t been able to in four years! This boy is a hero among rescues! If anybody deserves this honor, it’s Monstro!!
