Munson — Shelter
I was looking for another companion dog after I lost my old dog. My dog Nee Nee was sad and lonely. When I saw Munson on a local shelter page, I knew we had to go meet him. I learned he had been picked up as a stray, and had been adopted and returned three times previously. He and Nee Nee seemed to like each other, so we took him home. I was determined that my home would be his final home. He was a good dog, but no one had ever bothered to teach him anything. We had a lot of work to do, but it’s paid off greatly. He is extremely loyal and will always come when I call. He had to learn to leave the cats and goats alone, and still gets too interested in them at times. Not surprisingly, dog DNA testing revealed that he is 2/3 Australian Cattle Dog. He has a lot of anxiety in strange places, and I’ll never be able to find out about his previous homes or experiences. He’s a big ol’ goober and always wants to be by someone’s side. I wouldn’t trade him for anything!
