Nala — Shelter
Nala was a stray in Houston and was likely hit by a car. After wandering into a church and being taking to the shelter by good Samaritan’s, the shelter could not afford to care for her leg and she was put on the euthanasia list. With the help of the Lance McCullers Foundation, Rescued Pets Movement, and a loving foster, she was able to get her amputation and come up to Colorado where I adopted her. Her missing leg has not hindered her at all, but rather been a means of connecting with others. Through doing this, she’s been able to become an advocate for pit bull breeds: showing that these dogs are inherently good. She’s gained a Tiktok following of over 88,000, where all proceeds are donated to different pit bull advocacy organizations.
