Pika — Shelter

Pika is our 3-year old Nureongi, who was rescued as a puppy from the Korean dog meat trade and flown to the United States, where we immediately fell in love with her at a rescue shelter in Sanford, Florida. At first she was was timid, but quickly learned that our home was filled with nothing but love for her and our other rescue, and she is now a bundle of curiosity and joy. The submitted photo was her first experience in snow, taken this past Christmas in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
