River — Shelter

River is my hero.You see a few years ago our only child unexpectedly passed away.The grief took a toll on my already difficult health conditions.I was having a real hard time getting motivated to do anything. We started searching for a companion dog,unfortunately time and again available dogs got adopted out before me.I had given up hope.On Mothers day morning I recieved a message that I was chosen out of many people to be Rivers forever person. He is such a character,so smart and funny with his antics and he constantly motivates me.He even does physical therapy stretches with me. Every day he keeps my spirits up and depression away.For these reasons he will always be my little hero.
