Tsuki — Shelter
We first saw Tsuki on Facebook as an 8 week old pup. She was due to be put down because she is deaf. There was no discussion, we knew we had the perfect home for her.
In the last seven months, she has become this wonderfully confident pup. She doesn’t let her deafness slow her down. She is fearless on the agility course and in life as well.
Tsuki has taught everyone that she comes in contact with something. Whether it is about being a double merle, that deaf dogs are not vicious or just doing things that “normal” dogs do.
The picture was taken during a hike with a deaf group of children and their patents. Tsuki is being a guardian by making sure there are no stragglers.
Tsuki is a hero in my book since despite her disability she is becoming caring confident dog.
